About Us

Maintainer Custom Bodies, Inc. (MCB) is located in Northwest Iowa near the Minnesota and South Dakota state lines, in the city of Rock Rapids. 

MCB originally started in 1976 as Cayel Craft Manufacturing, manufacturing ambulances.  With shifts in the marketplace Cayel Craft changed it's focus from Ambulance manufacturing to Rescue and Specialty vehicle manufacturing, and emerged in 1991 as Amtech Emergency Products, Inc.

After a change in ownership in 2004, Amtech became Rescue Vehicles of Iowa (RVI) steadily growing into a nationally known and respected industry leader.

Rescue Vehicles of Iowa after being purchased in 2008 continues to lead the Fire and Rescue industry as Maintainer Custom Bodies, Inc. (MCB).
